Lancelot has shown a huge potential as a dressage horse with a high degree of rideability and three top quality gaits, which makes him a sought-after sire in both breeding directions.
His sire Lordanos holds a breed index in jumping of 146, and was a supreme performance test winner before his career in show jumping at upper level with the young rider Janne Sosath. Beside his success in sport Lordanos has achieved a remarkable breeding career with numerous licensed sons and more than 30 offspring competing at upper level. Lancelot is the first foal out of Ginastra whose dam Dacota has produced several top sport horses and placed in jumping at medium level herself.
Lancelot has all the most important traits of a top sport horse: Nerve, courage and rideability. He passed his performance test with good results in both jumping and dressage and placed 3rd in the final of the Danish dressage championships for 4-year-olds, and won a qualifier with 92.4%!
Lancelot is found free of OCD.
